This is good for the whole of Andalusia, but not especially useful for the area on the Costa del Sol, where I was headed. There was very little on Malaga or Marbella. Having previously been to Cordobà and Granada, it is much better in coverage for those areas.
The dumbest thing about the Kindle edition is that all the maps are just URL to Google Map.How am I supposed to have a web connection when I'm traveling abroad!?!?!? If I had a constant web connection, I wouldn't need a guidebook in the first place!Another thing I hated was that all the images were grouped separately at the end of the book. It makes you read text, click on a link to see the image, go back to the text section. Going back and forth really slowed down the reading experience.Also, some texts are links which take you to another section in the book, but there's no way to go back to where you were! Hitting the phone's back button closes the book and takes you to Kindle library.Complete waste of money!
Nice and compact. Contains same materials as the larger Eyewitness Travel Guide to Spain, but in a more localized and lighter format. Can carry in a pocket or handbag without adding a lot of weight.
This is just terrible. I own dozens of DK travel guide books and this is a very very poor imitation of those. Graphics are cludgy and text is difficult to read poor pagination etc. DK you need to get onto the digital age or die. I wanted a refund but could not get one. Feeling ripped off.
Not as good as some other Top 10 books, but still very helpful information. It would be great if there was a book specific to Seville in this series.
I also am a great fan of the eyewitness series. However, having purchased this Andalucia guide on kindle, I am very disappointed. It gives very brief information in places and misses out on essential information most of the time. For Seville, for example, it only mentions the AlCazar without listing much else!!!I most certainly feel that I have been duped with this one. I plan to complain to Amazon.
Excellent book and DK too 10 are my favorite travel guides
Comprehensive book has all we needed to plan a trip of the region. Nice pictures and description of sites to see.
